Would you be willing to become 3 billion peoples savior at the cost of becoming 3 billion peoples grim reaper?

I think this follow one a little bit from what my last post was talking about and then takes it a bit further.

I was watching a alphas (the tv show) and made me think about what peace is worth and that the differences between people is too much some time. The show displays well a world just like our own and uses people with "abilities" as a good was of creating a "Us" verses "Them" mentality that we see is our everyday lives. Discrimination is far too common in our world, disliking, hating, hurting, people just because they are different, just because you don't understand, or more to the point don't want to understand, is wrong and shallow minded. In saying that who am I, or anyone for that matter, to be the judge or what is right and wrong?

A line in the show talks about "do you want ashes or paradise?" referring to the idea that in 40 years we will have destroyed ourselves and there will be nothing left, so what is the lives or some in comparison to the lives of all? Would you kill 3 billion people if there was a 99.99% chance that in 40 years that we would almost wipe ourselves to extinction? would you kill the 3 billion to save 3 billion?
Now that's a question, and not easily answered, yes there will be people who will jump on either side of the answer and then there are people whole would think about it a lot, with a 0.01% chance of survival if you don't would you be willing to become 3 billion peoples savior at the cost of becoming 3 billion peoples grim reaper?

Myself I am an optimistic guy, i see the hope i see the potential in people, so even though it may only be a 0.01% chance i think it's worth it. The human race is a stubborn one to say the least, we always find a way to survive, a way to persevere no matter the odds, that's just how we are, awesome (for the most part).

Remember that one good memory is worth all the bad ones.

Sorry for the ramble

Stay awesome

Am I an individual or a number?

Was staring out into the garden with thoughts that were obviously outside the box as per usual, well maybe they're aren't outside the box and I just think they are? I thought of change, not small scale change but instead  I thought of what we need to be down to make the world change. I have these thoughts past through my head often. I thought maybe politics was the way to go, I thought that maybe I would be able to create change not just for me and the people I care about but everyone. I watch useless political parties and member accomplish nothing, I watch them bicker and moan to  each other that it wasn't their fault but that other person sitting across the rooms fault, I see people lose their jobs, I see people who just send out messages of hate, I see the world I love heading down a path that only seems to have an ending that we will all regret, and still this does not change people. We are quickly growing into a society that has no real voice, a society with no strong leaders, a society where money is more important than people's lives. I love to think of myself as an individual, I love to think that I could change the world for the better, and then I try to think of how? I will continue to think that way, and I will continue to try and find away :)

A question, have we all become just numbers in the global political landscape? Can we break through an amount to more?

Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between what's real and what's fake...

I woke up from a long sleep with vivid memories of my dream, it felt so real that for a moment I thought the world I woke up to was the dream and not the other way around. My dream had its own its own story, its own history, and it own independent events; Could that be reality ? What I mean is what determines what's real? and for arguments sake how do we know this world is not just a dream? a figment of my or someone else dream world.

Yes Yes I know that it's a bit extreme to say  that but just think about it, how do you know this is real? Is it because you think and you feel? you taste and experience things? don't you do that all in a dream to? don't they feel real at the time?

Ahhh who knows, my mind was just having a philosophical moment.

Stay awesome people!

Something i wrote along time ago, was going to be the start of a book :) the second guessing solider

As we headed to the shore I broke into a sweat despite the freezing wind. As i looked around at my fellow comrades, which were all my age, I began to question my beliefs, maybe it was because i was scared or maybe it was the only time i had ever really thought about it? I had always just believed in it all, i believed that it was my duty to fight for the country i loved so much but blindly i never really asked myself why? As we moved closer to the shore I began to think about it more and more. Why do I? No why are we here? Just because we were drafted we go to fight in a war to help the bloody English? I had never gave it any real consideration before, maybe it was because i knew i was going to make it out of this and these thought were my mind trying to get my body to turn around. That boat has long sailed, unfortunately. There was no way out now and the chilling air mixed with the icy water splashing into the boat was a reminder of that.

Why we think the way we do...

Was thinking about it today while i cure my boredom with anime, it funny/disturbing how much people care about what people who don't know them think. People are always going to have there opinions and nothing is going to change that, its about understanding that you are you, you are who You want to be, you do what You want to do, you say what You want to say, no one else is you, only you :)

People find it easier in this world to judge people then to get to know someone. A person could be a good person or maybe mean and a jerk, they might be cheerful and happy or sad and lonely, they might smile a lot they may not, they might invite you in or even push you away, they maybe an open book or impossible to read, the point is that people are different and looking from the outside really means nothing, only the people who are truly close to you are the ones that matter, they help make you who You are, just like you help them the same way :-)

So next time you are feeling bad after someone says something about you, just think are they you? do they know you? if the answer no, then who cares what they think, just remember you're awesome and they are just stupid :-)

Soul Food

I was in just a meh mood when I woke up this morning, not awesome not bad just meh, turned on the computer and was quickly reminded I had music blaring last night and as it started going again and all of a sudden my mood was changed to awesome, I was singing and dancing around my room and house like an idiot.

While i was being an idiot I had the realisation that I always have when this happens (yes I'm quite often dancing around like an idiot), music is my soul food, something that i need to survive.

So think about it next time you feel meh or down, what is your soul food? Remember you soul has an bottomless appetite so always over indulge :)

Let my soul smile through my heart and my heart smile through my eyes, that I may scatter rich smiles in sad hearts :)
